The Grand Dutchess Bed and Breakfast in Red Hook, NY had a fabulous kitchen renovation designed by a local architect. The design was incredibly intricate.   I took the plans for this elaborate Victorian kitchen and made it come to life. Layers of molding added depth and detail to the project, which was painted a Tuscan olive and featured Peruvian Walnut details and Zebrawood panels.

The architect’s plans omitted the oven wall and the client asked me to “figure something out to cover the hood”.   I studied the original plans and was able to extrapolate different details and crafted a fabulous statement piece that blends perfectly with the architect’s original design. The hood surround, and this entire kitchen, was a monumental project and the result is spectacular.
